Data protection is a fundamental right guaranteed under constitutional law. When sending application documents, sensitive data will be disclosed. Applicants should therefore be kept well informed about its collection and usage, as well as the protective measures being applied. bet-at-home.com Entertainment GmbH (often referred to as bet-at-home.com hereafter) undertakes to protect the personal data of applicants and shall only process this data if such data processing is permitted by law or the applicant has agreed to the processing of their data. In the following, bet-at-home.com shall explain all of the important information pertaining to the handling of the data of applicants within the company:

1. Collection of Personal Information
The applicant consents to their personal data, including their name, address, phone number, date of birth, and other data stated in the application form being processed by rexx systems GmbH, Süderstrasse 75-79, 20097 Hamburg, Germany, which is the data processing company employed by bet-at-home.com Entertainment GmbH, located at Hafenstraße 47-51, 4020 Linz, for this purpose. This processing is for the purposes of using and keeping the applicant’s application on record.
bet-at-home.com processes all of the data submitted by the applicant in the application form and all of the data provided by the applicant in their application documents, even if this concerns data as defined in article 9 of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). The applicant confirms that they are aware of this and gives their explicit consent to this by providing such data defined in article 9 of the GDPR in the application form or in their application documents.
When registering, the applicant can import their data directly from a secure online source (XING, LinkedIn) into the application form. In the process of doing this, the applicant will be transferred to the homepage of the selected online source and prompted to log in if they are not already logged in. Subsequently, the applicant will be informed by the selected source what data is to be transferred to bet-at-home.com. Once the applicant has confirmed their acceptance of this, the data will be transferred to bet-at-home.com. During this process, bet-at-home.com only saves data which is required for the application form. The applicant can alter the imported data at any time. Using XING or LinkedIn to complete the application form provides bet-at-home.com with access to the applicant’s data as stated on the chosen website. Information concerning the exact purpose and extent of the data collection as well as the further processing and usage of the data and the rights and settings options hereof for privacy protection can be found in the respective Privacy Policies of XING and LinkedIn.

2. Retention period
If the applicant is applying for a specific job offer or making a speculative application, bet-at-home.com shall process this data during the entire duration of the application and selection process. Furthermore, the data shall also be used for the “talent pool”, a database managed by bet-at-home.com made up of applicant data. With the exception of basic data (title, first name, surname, e-mail address, date of birth, postcode, submission method of the application, “How did you hear about us?”, and communication with the applicant), all data collected concerning the applicant will be deleted six months after the conclusion of the application and selection procedure. Basic data will remain stored in bet-at-home.com’s database for up to five years. During this time, bet-at-home.com may find a suitable position for the applicant. If the applicant is hired, their data will be saved and processed as employee data.

3. Disclosure of your Data
The applicant agrees that their personal data will be used by the employed data processing company, rexx systems GmbH, Süderstrasse 75-79, 20097 Hamburg, Germany, for the electronic processing of their application. Moreover, the applicant agrees that their personal data, in particular cases, may be sent to bet-at-home.com Internet Ltd. and bet-at-home.com Entertainment Ltd., both of which are located in the Portomaso Business Tower, Level 12, STJ 4011, St. Julian’s, Malta, and all other companies included in the corporate group for the purposes of processing their application.
Otherwise, the data shall only be used within the company and shall not be shared with third parties. The data shall only be accessible to employees in the Human Resources department and shall only be submitted to selected managers.

4. Protection of Personal Data
Unfortunately, using the internet to transfer information is not completely secure. bet-at-home.com takes all possible technical and organisational security measures to protect the personal data of applicants from loss and misuse. However, the complete safety of the data of applicants can never be guaranteed. Each transfer of data is therefore at the applicant’s own risk. After receiving the data, bet-at-home.com adopts technical and organizational measures to ensure that bet-at-home.com’s systems are protected against attacks and misuse, and that the applicant’s personal data is protected against loss, incorrect modification, or unauthorised use by third parties. The data provided shall be stored in a secure operating environment which is not accessible to the public.
When transmitting personal data within the corporate group, the encoding of data is carried out using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. The confidentiality of communication is therefore guaranteed.
bet-at-home.com hereby indicates that, should the applicant wish to contact bet-at-home.com outside of the management application system, for example via e-mail, it cannot be guaranteed that the transferred information will be confidential.

5. Right to Information and Data Portability
Following a written request and after appropriate proof of identity has been provided, the applicant shall be informed as to which personal data has been saved by bet-at-home.com and shall receive this data in a commonly used format. To obtain this information, the applicant must send a request for information to recruitment@bet-at-home.com.

6. Right to Correction, Restriction and Deletion
After a written request via e-mail and once appropriate proof of identity has been presented, any and all of the applicant’s personal information shall be corrected or deleted, or the processing of the data shall be correspondingly restricted.

7. Right to Complain
If the applicant believes that the regulations of the GDPR have been breached, they may lodge a complaint with a regulatory authority.

8. Information for Revocation
The applicant may revoke their declaration of consent to the processing of their data at any time by sending an e-mail to recruitment@bet-at-home.com.
